KDFGA Education Fund
Formerly called the Daryl Bell Education Fund
We are currently improving the workings of this fund.
We want to continue the goals of the fund.
We also want to make it function better.
The Kamloops & District Fish & Game Association (KDFGA) offers funds to students furthering their education in the areas of conservation, habitat, wildlife, fish or enforcement of applicable regulations. The Education Fund is in honour of KDFGA Life Member Darryl Bell. The award is in the amount of three hundred dollars ($ 300.00), which has been matched by our club to make the fund $600. Applications should be submitted to the KDFGA by September 15.
Eligibility: KDFGA members in good standing or relatives of a member in good standing.
Requirements:
Applicants must be enrolled or confirm they will be enrolling in an accredited College, Institute or
University in Canada or the United States of America.
Selection Process:
Applications will be reviewed by the “Darryl Bell Education Fund Committee”. The committee’s
Recommendations will be presented to the KDFGA Board of Directors for final approval.
Successful Applicants:
The Darryl Bell Education Fund recipients will be announced at a KDFGA general meeting. The recipient
may attend the meeting and be presented with a cheque in the amount of three hundred
dollars ($ 300.00) by the chair of the meeting. A cheque will be forwarded to recipients if
unable to attend the meeting.
Additional Information:
More than one award may be given in one year.
Applicants can apply in subsequent years.
Club members are encouraged to donate to the Darryl Bell Education Fund.
