Kamloops Fish and Game Incentive Program by Gene Tisdale

Adopted May 2017

In order to bring more members into our club and generate more enthusiasm, especially from the younger hunters and fishermen the following proposal was brought to the Board of Directors. This was supported and approved by the directors.

The objectives are to:

o      Increase our club membership especially with younger individuals

o      Enhance and increase participation for our trophy displays at the Annual smorgasbord.

The Kamloops and District Fish and Game Association (KDFGA) will be awarding two $500 Gift Certificates (GC) to Wholesale Sports (Kamloops).

The KDFGA Trophy Committee will be awarding through a random draw, two $500 gift certificates at the Annual Banquet and Awards Ceremony (March 2018).  To be eligible for the random draw, you need to be a member of the KDFGA prior to catching your fish or harvesting your big game animal, and the entries must have been caught/harvested during the 2017 calendar year. One $500 GC will be awarded for the Fish Competition and the other $500 GC will be awarded to the Wildlife Competition.  Any member who enters a fish or big game animal into the KDFGA competitions will have their name entered into the respective random draws.  As an example, if you were to enter two fish and two big game animals into the competitions, you now have two opportunities to win in the fish category and two opportunities to win in the big game category (One entry per category per person in the Fish Competition.  The Big Game Competition entries will be relative to BC hunting bag limits.  I.e, one entry per species per person, with the exception of those species where several may be taken province wide).  This is open to all ages for all categories.  Memberships and details to the Fish and Wildlife Competition categories can be found at www.kdfga.ca.  For further information, contact Gene Tisdale at TisdaleG@me.com.

A special thanks to Wholesale Sports (Kamloops) for their generous contribution and partnership in this competition.  Good luck and good hunting and fishing!
